Demonstrating the art of sound (Concrete Music), Daily Transit is entirely composed of my field recordings with the exception of the organ and drum beat.
This skates the line between insanely clever and twee; I love it however, it’s clean and really well stitched together. I think you may (hopefully you’ll take this as a compliment) have a strong crack at commercial work with this. Inside the music the listener seems to exist in a very quick, happy head-bobbing sort of place, a little koo-koo but at least we have ice!
Ahhh, it’s so nice to hear musique concrete that’s more than just a field recording. I love the way you’ve taken ideas from the experimental side of things and made them something accessible! And it helps that that’s quite a catchy beat you’ve got going there :D
