CCMixter.org is another great place to download and share sounds and music. You can download sounds and use them in your own audio projects. What I really like about CCMixter is that any sounds you use to create a song, if you upload the completed song back to their website, there is an option to select the original sound artist you used sounds from and give them credit for using their sound. It also allows you to select sound artist you used sounds from on freesound.org and give them credit as well. I think that is a really neat feature.

Unlike the awesome freesound.org which concentrates its efforts on sounds and field recordings only, CCmixter allows for uploading and downloading not only field recordings and sfx, but also full completed tracks\songs. Members can add your song\track to their playlist, recommend it, or subscribe to your profiles rss feed.

Another thing I really like about this site is that their are a lot of good vocals (acapellas) to choose from and use in your own projects. When uploading an audio file at ccmixter, you have a choice of different Creative Commons licenses to choose from.
