MC Jack in the Box reviewed it saying,
“Man, this is crazy-assed good. you’ve got a great sound man. one of the best i’ve heard so far. just incredibly huge sound. and so well constructed. original. unique. killer. Just an amazing sonic rollercoaster ride through the mind of Travis Morgan aka morgantj.”
Mario Mattioli said,
“Fascinating, immersive, great sounds. One of the best tracks I’ve ever found here on ccMixter.”
Ducket said,
“Clinically delicious; once again the man shows us how much he understands about both the niceties of audio production, and human psychology. Well-deserved Ed Pick indeed.”

A Secret Mixup (a.k.a. Secret Mixter, a.k.a Secret Santa) is an event on CCMixter where several remixers sign-up to remix each other in secret. I was assigned to sample Colin Mutchler aka Commonsplice. He had several spoken vocal samples to choose from. So the primary vocals in this track are sampled from his unique “Slanted Voices” spoken vocal upload. I rearranged words to put different layers of meaning together. The rest of the sounds, beat, melody, efx, ryhthm, and arrangement came naturally for me. I like to be creative and create sounds that are fresh and striking. I just went with the flow of my peronal creativity.
I had been working on Light Patterns for a while and had just never got a round to completing the track. Well, I finally finished it. It is fresh, gentle, and a little bit jazz glitchy. Enjoy

I first composed “Smallville” without any vocals, but later thought that some rap vocals would go well with the beat and melody. So I added the vocals of “Cue” and made some timing and sfx modifications to fit with the pella. Enjoy!

“Stomp The War” is the second track I composed for the remix contest, “People Let’s Stop the War” by Brad Stanfield of Freedom People which if selected as their favorite remix will earn $100 USD donation in my name to the Peace Alliance. The track was carefully crafted to create a deep strong unusual marching type cadence/beat. I hope you enjoy.

My latest track, “8-Bit kraftsman,” is a delicate blend of typing, printer, paper, and vocal sounds carefully mixed with extreme 8-bit goodness.

Playing the “Melodica” iPhone App on my iTouch 2g. Melodica, by CandyCane, is a musical melody app for the Iphone or Itouch that lets you play tunes like the tenori-on or the Tone Matrix. I had my itouch plugged into my computer speakers. You Can record your music or sounds by using a 3.5mm cable from the itouch to your computer sound card and use something like Audacity to record. Can be done with any app on the iphone/itouch.
“Operator” is a soundscape I composed that captures the body of mans daily experiences with telephones and the mysterious operators voice on the other end.
