My name is Travis Morgan.

Welcome to my online portfolio. Here you will find a variety of my works including my art, music, and poetry. I also share some of my thoughts on various philosophical topics.

What I do:

As you will find, I express myself through a variety of creative mediums Graphic design\Art is the most visual aspect. Check out my original inkblot styled artwork, graphic designs, and my Apple Itouch paintings.

Making music has become my favorite hobby. I love painting with sound to create artistic audible experiences. I do not restrict myself to a specific genre. My music ranges from Dubstep, Electronic, World, Hip Hop, Glitch, Experimental, Pop, to 8-bit, etc… Nevertheless, I think you will find I do have my own unique style that shows through across genres.

Words are powerful, and more so when they are arranged creatively and effectively to envoke the writer intentions. Value is not found in the volume of words we whisper, rather it’s found, in the few relayed rightly. Poetry is way for me to express myself creatively through words. It is the art of wordsmithing.

Do you hear it, the euphony? I hear these musicial vibrations everywhere, and I record them. I keep a sound diary of my field recordings, a record of the naturally produced sound-scapes oscillating the world around me. Equipment: H2 Zoom Field Recorder with four mics in digital stereo. Minor tweaking with Audacity.

I love creating websites not only because it allows me to be creative but also because it is fun to create interactive user experiences.

Philosophy is one of my favorite subjects. It addresses the big questions that everyone asks themselves but rarely discuss in public everyday life. I have participate in countless discussions and debates on philosophical topics such as free-will vs. determinism, the meaning of life (or lack of), hedonism, etc… I pursue the truth, and through the study of philosophy I feel I gain a clear perspective of reality.
