Hiroshima 08:15 August 6 1945

I’ve always felt a great sadness over the atomic bomb nuclear attacks that took place on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 and at Nagasaki August 9, 1945. I feel that this was one of mans biggest failures in judgment ever. Anyways, due to my feelings on the subject, I decided to compose a soundscape reconstructing one of the atomic bomb droppings. I begin the soundscape about a minute before the dropping, and you will hear what happens (or the lack of happenings) afterwards. I also created a signature inkblot design to go with it as a visual.

I present to you my soundscape, Hiroshima 08:15 August 6 1945

Daisy, the sock monkey

Daisy, the sock monkey

Our father who art not in heaven

The fattest fairytale ever fed
fixes a folly to foil ones head.
Flattering its host with features to attract,
it forges a fiction flavored like fact.
It’s firm to force that flesh will fade
and fibers internal are forever in grade.
Made in faith this figure does flower,
framed as the most famous, favorite, phantasmal power.
Our father who art not in heaven,
figure in yet another seven
days or more
to free us from each and every war
scored in your shifty label,
your fading film like fraying fable
feeding on man’s fear of death,
a fog, lacking face and breath.
Fumbling upon only what is said,
this fairytale fantasy foots to wed
man with prayer
at his bed.

Domino

Domino

My newest inkblot design, “Domino,” is an abstract piece that represents “causality” or the “sensitive dependence on initial conditions” which is also often known as a “domino effect,” or the “butterfly effect” as well as sometimes being referred to as the “chaos theory.”

Beth Hirsch Remix Contest

I entered the Beth Hirsch Remix Contest with my song:

“Our Song (Warm Sun Office Window Remix)”

Ever been in the office while it’s a beautiful summer day? You look out the window and imagine yourself out there under the sun, feeling the warmth, one with the wind? That was what inspired my song, “Our Song (Warm Sun Office Window Remix).”

You can listen to, download, and review the track here.

The meaning of life

Perhaps we are looking for a “why” to an “oops, wtf” first action that just keeps rollin’

Hogs Burnin’

I’ve entered the Victory Gin Hogs Remix Contest with my song:

Hogs Burnin’

Hogs burnin’ over a hot sizzlin’ fire, what more could you ask for. My first attempt ever to compose towards the country genre. It was very enjoyable to create the atmosphere and mood for this. There is a slightly special dramatic ending for this as well.

You can listen to, download, and review the track here.

Milk Remixed

Two low-fat milked out tracks I submitted to the “Victory Gin Milk Remix Contest.” These cold glasses of milk are on the house.

Spilled Milk (fricken Crazy Remix)

Whole Milk (Country Farmin Remix)

slow death

To live is to die a slow death.

Dominoes all the way down

I think of the universe, the planet(s), our lives, our biology, the nature of things, to be like an extremely complex domino effect. There are tiny domino effects that as a whole create one larger domino that is on its own domino effect level, and so on…Each domino effect representing a single larger domino that is on its own domino effect plane. I think we are but one product of this tree of domino effects, and us, on one level, a single domino, being knocked, and thus knocking another. If the universe is expanding, I imagine this to be the outskirts of the domino effect where the dominoes are raised up like an ocean wave and come crashing down over and over again.

The domino effect is no new idea, as it is parallel to and reflects the well documented chaos theory, butterfly effect, cause and effect relationship, actions and reactions, etc… However, I shall work on an art piece that will provide some visual representation of the domino layering effect. I’ll post it when it is completed.
