This is my original Darwin Day card design in honor of and to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin on February 12, 1809. The holiday is also an opportunity to highlight Darwin’s contribution to science and to promote science in general.

This is the best I’ve seen!
How do I go about using it?
To whom do I send money for the use of this image?
I’m serious, here, please let me know!

Awesome! Obviously, you have blended his image to appear as one with nature. I surmise it’s no coincidence that his body is abstract enough to resemble an ape-like apparition?
I must tell you that my (now 5 yr old) son has been asking where the first person came from since he was 3. Naturally, I saw no other option than Darwinism for my answer. Afterwards I was telling a friend about the conversation and she said, “shame on you! You taught him evolution?” I told her I most certainly did and as I went on to say there’s no way to refute evolution while keeping your dignity, she eventually conceded that, yeah, she didn’t believe the original bible version once she thought about it. MOST mind-blowing is that during the discussion I had to convince her that man and dinosaurs DID NOT COEXIST! People? People? Really?
I had someone else tell me that she flat-out doesn’t believe in dinosaurs, the reason having something to do with Christianity and the bible. I didn’t even go there.

I like the design, but I would make “Darwin Day” a little larger and move it over to the right side to balance it out….

Travis,
I came across an image of your work last year and was really blown away by the thought and effort that went into the composition. Now that I know who to thank, I want to let you know how many people in our department have enjoyed it as well.
If, by chance, you have a high-res image that we could post on the Department of Biology website, I would assure that you were credited and linked.
Again, thanks for the share.
