I Live on a Pixel
Thursday, March 1st, 2007
Our planet,
but a single pixel in space.
Our lives,
insignificant, or perfectly in place?
Little motions,
multiplying into megascopic reactions.
Little steps taken,
significant, or trite transactions?
I live on this pixel,
this pixel called, “Earth,”
and sometimes I wonder,
what it’s all worth.
But the beauty,
rests in every place.
As evil as it all seems,
there are many broken dreams,
but beauty truly does gleam.
But solitary fragments,
of this immaculate place
we are of its space;
We are all perfectly,
in place.
Fate exists not,
destiny sings a song,
to those who listen.
Someday all will glisten,
and the ocean will lie
in purity.
I love this pixel
For good or ill it shines
Vast in emptiness
