Shamrock - Four Leaf Clover

Shamrock - Four Leaf Clover Lucky Design

Given that I do have some Irish blood and it is getting around St. Patrick’s day, I thought I would design an inkblot that reflects the Legend of the Four Leaf Clover. According to legend, each leaf represents something. The first leaf is for hope, the second leaf is for faith, the third leaf is for love, and the fourth leaf is for none other then, luck.

    Legend?
    .
Maybe, but there is a truth about clover…
    .
St. Patrick used the clover to explain the Christian Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. How the three are truly one. And, maybe that forth leaf is not luck, but… if you believe… that forth leaf is YOU!

My mom and I have always had this gift for finding four leaf clovers. its weird, we just find them. anywhere. well, to me its always represented what what my mom means to me and what she taught me about hard work and patience and attention to detail and just life, especially related to the legend. anyways, we’ve been talking about getting matching tattoos of four leaf clovers for a long time now, and we’ve been searching for the perfect graphic of one, and ive been trying to design one but i just cant find a way to incorporate all i want to into it. this graphic is PERFECT i love it! i think its really simple and perfect, kind of whimsical. its not the cliche four leaf clover, which is what im looking for. i just want to find a way to incorporate the words hope, faith, love, and luck into it without ruining the graphic, and i think we may get a tattoo of it! also, we were trying to find a way to have the stem say “serenity”. anyways, im glad i stumbled across this, its very nice. mind if we use your image?
