Drunken Poet Pen Technique

An epic battle unfolds
between man and paper
leaving a trail of bloody ink
flowing from top to bottom
swift slashes
ashes the once virgin page
staged with graceful loops and blots
plots of the Flying Dragon Brush style
swept between parallel lines outlined
in calligraphic movements
of brushes Tiger Claw Bristles
moving the page forward
on Frogs Footprint Form
hopping through the canvas
catching flaws with an elastic tongue
meant for flies in the early morning
among the Five Elements echoing
below the Seven Stars that shine
on Grasshoppers Trampoline Legs
crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s
after the Shaolin Scribble Stance
has completed it final stanzas
in an epic battle between man and paper
tapered in a trail of blood
through ink
of the Drunken Poet Pen technique.

very cool. I stumbled upon this site because im researching Charles Bukowski for a student book using his poetry and using visual metaphors of drunken martial arts.. bukowski definatly implemented the drunken poet pen technique :)

Thanks for stopping by William. I’m glad you liked this. You don’t happen to have any video production capabities do you? I mean like visual effects and such? After visiting your site, I was under the impression that you might.
