The Secret Admirer
Why must I compare thee to a star,
when thou shinest brighter than any star I’ve gazed?
How can I relate thee to a prickly rose,
when thine eyes shalt never wilt a mans heart?
I shall not express my love for thee
with metaphors, similes or words direction.
Nor shall any amount of kisses and hugs suffice.
My affection for thee is formless and without me.
I shall never pluck thee from the earth’s soil,
for then all this tension would end, and spoil.

I need advice my boyfriend broke up with me one week ago today and I am seriously heartbroken I have never felt this way before but I know he loved me and I don’t understand how those feelings can go away so fast but his name is Jacob Lawrence and I want to just tell him that I love him but he might not want me back but I like this other boy I’ve liked him even before I started dating him his name is Cody and I don’t know if he likes me but I am his secret admirer I don’t really know how too tell him because he might not feel the same way so can you please give me some advice on this?

Amanda, Hi! I’m sorry to hear about your troubles. You have probably heard this before, but that is because it holds true - In Love, one should follow ones heart and do what one feels is right and true. Take a minute to stop and feel, be true and honest with yourself, then the answer will reveal itself. In Love, our hearts can make us do crazy things, it’s ok, but be sure to let your mind keep you responsible as well.
