Sugar Coated Words
Friday, June 23rd, 2006
I’ve been told to speak more lightly
Politely, sugar coat my words
My verbs are too direct
Subject to the defensive weak
oblique minded small talkers
Gawkers, offended by my
dry honesty
Tragesty gossipers
Worshippers of wish-wash
I’ll squash you with my clarity
Verity in my speech
Each word to the point
Anoint your mind with my
supply of rubbishless replies.
Revise your jibber jabber
Blabber not a word of tittle-tattle
Rattle me, speak in candidness
Exist to speak in all straightness
Weightless lies are misleading
Conceding to forthrightness
is righteousness succeeding
bleeding the truth into our lives.
Disguised lies and candy coated
bloated words never survive
the knives of honesties
transparent eyes.
Disguised lies and candy coated
bloated words never survive
the knives of honesties
transparent eyes!!!!!
travis travis travis…! how great those lines are!
empty vessel, glad you liked it!
They lie – give it to me straight up!
